HOW TO EARN MONEY ONLINE

11:22 AM Posted by Kathir

There are several lists with “ways to make money with a website” on the Internet, but none of them seem to be complete. That is why I decided to create this one. If you know a method that is not listed below, just let us know and we’ll update it.
Notice that ways to make money with a website are different from ways to make more money from it. Methods to increase your traffic or click-through rate will help you make more money, but they do not represent a method of making money per se.
For example, one could suggest that blending AdSense ads with the content is a way to make money from a website. In reality it’s not; it’s just a way to make more money by improving your ad click-through rate. The real monetization method behind it is a PPC ad network.
The list is divided into direct and indirect methods, and examples and links are provided for each point. Enjoy!
Direct Methods

1. PPC Advertising Networks

Google AdSense is the most popular option under this category, but there are also others. Basically you need to sign up with the network and paste some code snippets on your website. The network will then serve contextual ads (either text or images) relevant to your website, and you will earn a certain amount of money for every click.

The profitability of PPC advertising depends on the general traffic levels of the website and, most importantly, on the click-through rate (CTR) and cost per click (CPC). The CTR depends on the design of the website. Ads placed abode the fold or blended with content, for instance, tend to get higher CTRs. The CPC, on the other hand, depends on the nice of the website. Mortgages, financial products and college education are examples of profitable niches (clicks worth a couple of dollars are not rare), while tech-related topics tend to receive a smaller CPC (sometimes as low as a couple of cents per click).

The source of the traffic can also affect the overall CTR rate. Organic traffic (the one that comes from search engines) tends to perform well because these visitors were already looking for something, and they tend to click on ads more often. Social media traffic, on the other hand, presents terribly low CTRs because these visitors are tech-savvy and they just ignore ads.

2. CPM Advertising Networks

CPM advertising networks behave pretty much as PPC networks, except that you get paid according to the number of impressions (i.e., page views) that the ads displayed on your site will generate. CPM stands for Cost per Mille, and it refers to the cost for 1,000 impressions.

A blog that generates 100,000 page views monthly displaying an advertising banner with a $1 CPM, therefore, will earn $100 monthly.

CPM rates vary with the network, the position of the ad and the format. The better the network, the higher the CPM rate (because they have access to more advertisers). The closer you put the ad to the top of the page, the higher the CPM. The bigger the format (in terms of pixels), the higher the CPM.

You can get as low as $0,10 and as high as $10 per 1,000 impressions (more in some special cases). CPM advertising tends to work well on websites with a high page views per visitor ratio (e.g., online forums, magazines and so on).

3. Direct Banner Advertising

Selling your own advertising space is one of the most lucrative monetization methods. First and foremost because it enables you to cut out the middleman commissions and to determine your own rates. The most popular banner formats on the web are the 728×90 leaderboard, the 120×600 skyscraper, the 300×250 rectangle and the 125×125 button.

The downside of direct banner advertising is that you need to have a big audience to get qualified advertisers, and you will need to spend time managing the sales process, the banners and the payments.

4. Text Link Ads

After Google declared that sites selling text links without the nofollow tag would be penalized, this monetization method became less popular.

Many website owners are still using text links to monetize their sites, though, some using the nofollow tag and some not.

The advantage of this method is that it is not intrusive. One can sell text links directly through his website or use specialized networks like Text-Link-Ads and Text-Link-Brokers to automate the process.

5. Sponsored Reviews

PayPerPost pioneered this model, with much controversy on the beginning (related to the fact that they did not require disclosure on paid posts). Soon other companies followed, most notably Sponsored Reviews and ReviewMe, refining the process and expanding the paid blogging model.

Joining one of these sponsored reviews marketplaces will give you the opportunity to write sponsored posts on a wide range of topics. Not all bloggers are willing to get paid to write about a specific product or website (because it might compromise the editorial credibility), but the ones who do are making good money out of it.

If your blog has a big audience you could also offer sponsored reviews directly, cutting off the commissions of the middleman.

6. Paid Surveys and Polls

There are services that will pay you money to run a small survey or poll on your website. The most popular one is called Vizu Answers.

Basically you need to sign up with them, and select the kind of polls that you want to run your site. Most of these services operate under a CPM model.

7.In-text Adverting

In-text adverting networks like Kontera and Vibrant Media will place sponsored links inside your text. These links come with a double underline to differentiate them from normal links, and once the user rolls the mouse over the link the advertising will pop. Should the user click on it the site owner will make some money.

Some people make good money with this method, but others refrain from using it due to its intrusiveness. It is also interesting to note that very few mainstream websites have experimented with in-text advertising.

HOW TO EARN MONEY THROUGH BLOGS

11:17 AM Posted by Kathir

Many people want to earn money online and expect that to happen in one night. But that is not possible. Because you can never get anything that easily in life. So the next question that arises "Is it that difficult to earn money through blogging?" No!!! So, what is the answer? Simple!! You just put some hard work and you can earn money!! First you need to know what are the ways to make money with a blog. So in this post let me tell you the various ways to make money.
Earn through PPC(Paid Per Click)
The first thing that comes into our mind when we think we need to make money with our blog is Google Adsense. These are ads which are automatically displayed by Google. When people click them, u earn money(a percentage of the original cost paid by the advertiser). Though I have not tried them, I heard both positive and negatives about them. Few of friends make good money through them while few do not make even a cent and one of my fellow bloggers made 100$ and at the time of payment he was banned for some reason. So that will be really hurting. But I am sure if you have enough traffic and have the right content, you can end up getting a lot of money.
Advantage is that they display ads relevant to the content which many other sites do not. Other alternatives to Adsense will be Bidvertiser, Adbrite, LinkWorth, PogAds and many more.... I recommend LinkWorth because they have the best services and also the payments are sent on time.
Earn through Affiliate Sponsors
Another way to make money is through using affiliate ads. These are usually linked to a product. If someone buys a product via your blog, then you get a % of the sale. The most popular affiliate program is Amazon, who may give upto 6% of a sale. Other alternatives are WidgetBucks, Chitika and so on... I recommend you to try Amazon!!!Earn through Paid PostsThis method will make good amount if you are person who write original content. It needs good command over the language you write. People who copy and paste contents from other sites will not make any cent through this method. If you are interested in this, you can make easy cash through PayPerPost. Other alternatives would be SponsoredReviews,Smorty,Blogvertise and so on. I recommend you to join PayPerPost.
Earn through Private Ads
Another way for bloggers to make money is through selling ads directly to sponsors. This means there is no intermediary like Google to collect a percentage of what you made. You may also get a higher return because the advertiser can better target his ad. Though this process looks very simple, it is very difficult to get an advertiser who will publicize his ads in your blog because your blog can never have a traffic like Yahoo or Google. But still if you spend time and search in your niche, you may get one!!!

ADSENSE TIPS

Some basic tips for signing up with Google’s Adsense program.
Tip # 1 If you search multiple websites in different categories you’ll find onething in common. Almost all of them have Google ads and nothing else. This isbecause most other programs are a waste of time. Don’t take my word for it.Try other programs, but don’t skip Google’s Adsense.
Tip # 2 Google’s search spiders are so specific, that the ads that appear on eachpage correspond exactly to some element of that page. Therefore, having adsfrom other companies is not a good idea.
TIP # 3 You can place text, image, banner ads and even a search box that willearn your company revenue. Do not place a search box from another companyon the same page as Google’s search box. They may stop working with you

Slumdog Millionaire

11:02 AM Posted by Kathir

Hay every one
The director has never been shy of manipulating emotions and characters to crank out the maximum screen emotion. The scented backdrops and flavours of Mumbai dilute the crude liberties that Boyle occasionally inflicts on the melodrama.
The fact that these memories stack up into neat answers is spookily inconvenient if you’re a poisonous bastard such as Anil Kapoor’s deliciously smug television host. Or an emotionally detached viewer. Indeed Slumdog Millionaire is guilty of all sorts of implausible twists, not least a thundery long-distance romance between Jamal and a sultry captive beauty (Freida Pinto) forced into prostitution. It keeps pulling at your sleeve like a needy child.
Despite the wobbly structure, Slumdog is a far more sophisticated film than the plot suggests. There isn’t an inch of Merchant Ivory on view. And, like the best parables, Slumdog doesn’t simply plunder India’s troubled past and a boy’s bitter-sweet memories in order to look forward.
What’s great about the film is that it looks sideways as the past and future grind past each other like tectonic plates. It’s the kind of dynamic that Robert Lepage explores so brilliantly on stage. Here, Boyle takes on a bewildering mess of contradictions to make a surprisingly pure point.
Mumbai’s brand new skyscrapers sprout out of patches of mud; Jamal’s old-fashioned principles will forever be out of synch with the slick, nightclub world that his older brother Salim inhabits. And so it goes. The romance? Fear not. It’s fabulous icing

MARKETING TIPS PART 1

  1. Your brand (name) should be easy to remember, pronounced over the phone and should be the same as your domain name. You may be asking why I use Webli.st when my brand name is Weblist, that is because I have been wanting to use a hacked domain ever since I was a little kid and I am just making that happen.
  2. Your slogan should say exactly what you do or at least what field you are operating in. If not, your logo design should handle this task.
  3. Your website should have a unified brand identity, which includes the Logo, Icon and a Favicon (most preferably the same as the icon). All these items should walk together, they should be using the same colors, fonts and concept. Your Favicon is an important item which most webmasters ignore. The Favicon is used as an icon for your bookmarked links when your readers bookmark your pages, also it is viewed beside your title and URL when viewing your site.
  4. Use your do not. Every time you send from a free e-mail there is a lost opportunity that, the recipient is visiting your site and that, the word about your website is being spread. What’s better than word of mouth?
  5. Don’t tell me you do not use Twitter! You have to; it’s a great social tool that helps you in many ways. You can check what people are saying about your brand (search option), you can spread the word over Twitter (Tweets) and also keep in touch with the external world, whether customers or partners. These are the least and very basic things you can do with Twitter.
